A high quality double-sided appearance was required on this wall. Reconstituted limestone blocks are manufactured to have only one presentation "face", being mainly used for retaining tasks where the back-side is not seen (buried). In other words the "back" of the block often has a less than desirable appearance. By working with the supplier and careful dressing of the blocks an appearance such as this can be acheived.
