This free-standing front wall was constructed with poorly mixed mortar that was eroding. Some piers had cracks and loose stones. Cockburn Stoneworks gouged out loose mortar, pressure cleaned and repaired the defects before re-pointing the stonework. The pier on the left is shown before re-pointing.
