This client wanted to add some depth and feature to an otherwise rather bland backyard. Reducing the large expanses of plain fencing was a priority. The solution was to create raised garden beds in the corner with the beds stepped down along the back fence. To create further depth the front walls of the beds were constructed a half course lower than the rear wall. Once the landscape plantings take hold these beds should provide character and value to the owner.
