These walls were constructed from 500 x 350 x 240mm blocks for the lower courses and 500 x 350 x 200mm thick blocks for the top courses. A waterproof compound was applied to the inside of the walls to prevent moisture loss. Conduits and piping were led under the walls during construction for garden lighting and reticulation.
